ABOUT ME Originally from South Africa, I received a Fellowship in the Photographic Society of Southern Africa and an award in the South African National Press Awards for sports photography. I now live in San Diego, California, and am a specialist in, but not limited to; sports and people photography. My work has appeared in a number of publications, including National Geographic Traveler, Outside, New York Times, London Times, North County Times, The Star (South Africa), San Diego Sports Magazine, Southern California Home and Outdoor Magazine, DIG Magazine and Volleyball Magazine. My commercial clients have included Nike, Speedo, VISA, Mountain Dew, Freestyle Watches and Club Sportswear and have been on the covers of Southern California Home and Outdoor Magazine, San Diego Sports Magazine, Volleyball Magazine and DIG Magazine various times. I shoot anything that appeals to my eye and have built a substantial stock of model-released people and sports-related images. When shooting weddings, I like to portray it in a photojournalistic sense, attempting to capture the spirit behind the event not just the people. I am currently residing in Cairo, Egypt, and expect to be here for a few years. If any photography is needed in the US, please get in touch with me since I do travel to the US for periods of time.
